Hi Danube,
You are right mate, my reason is simply technical and some indicators have told me to short the stock and using options we can make a quick and big profit with small move in physical stock and sometime it is good to go against the crowds.
Generally I do not short any stock on an uptrend move but when technical indicators say so I will make a move and it does not matter if it was a dog or a gold or uptrend and if I was wrong then I was wrong.
