Be very wary of using NPV values.The guidance price estimates were based on 50/50 split of EV (earnings value) and NPV.NPV is based on LOM (say 12 years), so have to assume an average spod price over the 12 years. So current spot price holding for 12 years?? Highly unlikely (can never say never).
NPVs are a great tool for comparing options providing the inputs are the same, ie LOM, spod price, discount factor @8%, etc. If they differ (say for one company mine vs other company mine) then its like comparing apples with oranges.
