Avima was drilled around the same time as Mbarga and Metzimevin by the same company.
Some exploratory holes were drilled and found Hematite and Itabirite.
Hematite was still being found at a depth of 180mt deep in one hole.
Core used a camp on the SDL tenement in The Congo to get to Avima.They now have a road of around 30kl through the jungle to Avima and are drilling more holes.
