Did I read somewhere Nigel indicating that Boatman may receive some special attention in the wash-up to this saga, whereas he doesn't rate Tom Richardson's work as an issue to pursue?

Whatever, once the ML and ownership is sorted, Tommy being an accredited journalist will have a chance to redeem himself in our eyes. As befits a writer for a major masthead.

Thus armed with the full picture he would surely have a scoop by publishing a full expose of this whole sorry saga. Further, a journalist interested in fairness and balance would be ethically obliged to do so IMO. With the added incentive of a potential Walkley award in the offing lol.

Who knows, such a piece could constitute the basis of a ripping yarn, easily turned into a screenplay. Indeed, a good looking cove like Tom could even play himself in the movie version ...Ka-ching!

In short (excuse the pun) I trust Tom will ultimately do the right thing and set the record straight. It's the least he can do.
