wintermute, by the time the nbn is built the fixed technology will likely be superseded. I know no business that builds its offices and employs high salaried staff before they are certain that the market is there. All indicators say the market isn't there. Who is going to pay $275 per month. In Melbourne 1 million people can have access to nbn speeds via Telstra, yet only 200 have subscribed. Oganic growth is the most flexible and sensible way to proceed and that is what Telstra were doing. I simply don't get it! How is it that we always end up with dunderheads running out country.
