As a little current context, I'm sitting in a bar in Lyttelton, NZ. One of the oldest towns in New Zealand, but still barely 200 years old. If I was to quiz anyone here on the subject of these posts, blank states would be the response. Those of us who either live in the older world, or have lived there, would,and do marvel at the innocence of these new world dwellers, and are consequently relatively unsurprised by their susceptibility to PTB manipulation.
