Yep agree, but LME controlling interests in Europe realise they can't ban Russian metals unless all players are on the same side. And since much of the smelting and copper products are made in China I'd say it's unlikely sanctions against China will work for anyone.
Have you noticed none of the NATO countries are talking about backing down from Russian advances by removing NATO ambitions for Ukraine? Not a peep. The war would be over immediately.
