CJ is a serial pessimist here who routinely goes close to giving investment advice, always to avoid a Lynas investment.
I will say that Lynas is an extremely complex stock to value. There's the geopolitically strategic position as the source of the only RE supply chain totally outside China. There's the electrification agenda with rapidly growing demand for magnet metals (Lynas's bread and butter). There are some production issues in Malaysia due to local politics and poor local infrastructure, particularly water. There's a huge growth program to match the growing market. Etc.
Personally I'm all in with an investment horizon of 2025 or thereabouts.
