I hate retail and unsophisticated investors losing money due to lack of detailed analysis, discussion and information! That is why I care so much.
I am sorry you have lost so much money on Magellan @asxunsullied, don’t take it personally (I know it is hard), but I care about those that are about to invest in such a company as Magellan. I love discussing the merits of a businesses performance. I am happy to be proven wrong on the detail of Magellan that I post, I just can’t see that it is going to turnaround anytime soon.
Do an advanced search on my posts and Magellan, I have been posting warnings since 09/2020. I have copped abuse where others haven’t had the courage to have an intelligent discussion, but it is what it is. Magellan is a value trap, simple.
I am not going to give an opinion on what to invest in (unlicensed advice). There are more feasible options than Magellan available listed on the ASX.
Here is for discussion on merits of an investment, feel free to counter the details of the Magellan business. I just believe the business health isn’t there yet - again happy to debate.
In terms of a turnaround of the Magellan business, it is 70% improbable based on data from a highly reputable source in Michael Mauboussin.
