In answer to your question on cost, I have no idea. My point was that multiplex tests of the type mentioned do exist and I did state that cost of equipment could be a major factor in location of POC and I guess in cost as well. I think that history has shown that being able to test for viruses without dependency on machine readers is advantageous, at least in practical aspects if not in accuracy. Since I last posted I noticed this link. I can't say I have digested all the details but it looks like a "RAT like" multiplex test.

On the question of accuracy I believe that this site

was used to launch into the lack of accuracy of approved RAT tests. Maybe this was warranted but it seemed strange that no acknowledgment was ever made of the fact that some at least matched Anteo reported results!
