In February 2020,COVID, I panicked and sold more than half portfolio. At 70, I thought, bugger I'm going to have to work forever. So I worked 2020 in Australia and Indonesia.
BUT in April 2020, I bought back my entire portfolio for 35% of sale price. Refer NAB BHP GEAR.
In December 2020, I thought, I have so much cash, it is silly to work and I retired.
2021 and 2022 have been even kinder as I transitioned to 80% energy.
My next move is copper but not until energy plays out.
