    I’m pretty sure that you just can’t apply a multiple like that to derive how much LiCO3 you can get from a Lithium Chloride solution…..especially when the concentration of Lithium in the solution hasn’t been stated.

    I did make the assumption that the LiCl solution arrived at in both processes were similar (I.e. approximately the 60,000ppm concentration noted previously by Lilac). This is considered a relatively high concentration for the LiCl solution to be converted so I don’t think it is an unfair assumption. If you can detail the concentration of Li in the LiCl solution that the ADIONICS process produces, that may help clear things up.

    I don’t believe that the conversion of Lithium Carbonate = 0.871 x Lithium Chloride - as an excerpt from a California Tax Code. I have searched for conversion factors for Lithium Chloride to Lithium Carbonate to try to confirm this number and I haven’t been able to find any source that does so. Someone with a better Chemistry background should be able to confirm that though.
