So what Advent is saying is that:
ISX sued ASX, and it was a good move. We go on for three years. We pay millions in lawyers fees. Both costs and timeframes line up with expectations. We uncovered absolute proof (supposedly). A treasure trove. Then, millions of dollars down and 90% of the way to a verdict, we drop the case. And somehow it's also a good move?
That's some Olympic level acrobatics right there. Either we didn't expect to win, or we dropped a $500m court case. Either JK had the evidence he claimed to, or he was lying to us.
There is no reasonable way to suggest that JK has been both honest with us, and making a sound decision in dropping the case. It's one or the other.
