Nobody is commenting on the post - prior to this. And the post itself contains it seems almost nothing except the news that Reuters has picked up the news item as being newsworthy.
So I'm inclined to conclude that HotCopper posting this is effectively doing a bumping exercise.
CYP management probably would prefer internet discussion sites talk about their acheivements such as they are than about other things going towards an Annual General Meeting when shareholders naturally consider their performance over a year and the issues that the board have proposed be voted on in support of the boards recommendations.
I wonder if HotCopper sells News updates that are essentially repeats into the conversation stream to companies as a specific 'bumping' service for fee or if the 'news' updates - like this that really shouldn't be news if holders and the interested are reading CYP announcements are used in an alternative way - perhaps part of a service bundle - for an more general perhaps keep a paying customer happy alternative business objective?
