One thing is for sure with this announcement is that they are in a better position than yesterday in discussions with partners. If they were confident of a deal before these results then you can bet they will be even more so now. I am sure they would love to develop this site themselves but the JV will probably be about a few of their tenements not just this one. Handy to have potentially a few high grades deposits being developed within a JV. Lowers the potential return but in a country like PNG lowers the potential risk. That to be can only be a good thing. If it wasn?t for the aussie gov this would be a lot higher and producing by now.
