Well there it is. When you have Blackrock, JP Morgan, Bank of New York and a couple of others shorting the stock, it's any wonder the share price has been smashed. What is wrong with our government and regulators? All proceeds have gone straight overseas and has not been any good for the Australian market what so ever. Our idiot government are quite happy to see Australian companies smashed like this and when you raise this issue they usually give you the "It supplies liquidity to the market" bullshit!!!
This has been a major attack on gold stocks worldwide to destroy sentiment in the sector in the interest of the USD. I for one can't wait to see the demise of the US and their dollar. The problem for us is the Australian government will follow them blindly down whatever hole they end up in.
