We are now commencing operations test work, together with other technology development projects including the Burrard Hazer Hydrogen Project, a 2500tpa Commercial Plant to be situated in Canada .We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical and Piping Engineer to join our Perth-based project and operations team. The successful applicant will have significant project experience and will have a demonstrated passion to apply practical problem solving from design through to fabrication, installation, and commissioning. This role will be responsible for: Preparation of mechanical and piping design deliverables on multiple projects Review and approval of technical deliverables by contractors, consultants and specialists Technical authority/Discipline Lead for mechanical / piping discipline Ongoing support of site activities including construction, commissioning and operations modifications Supervise a small number of mechanical/ piping engineers as the team grows The right person will be able to demonstrate / have experience with: Experience in pressure equipment design including working knowledge of key design codes Materials selection and failure mechanisms knowledge required Exposure to reactor and furnace technology is very highly regarded Integrity inspection qualifications are highly regarded Experience in fabrication and site commissioning is desirable Oil & Gas background with solids handling experience is highly desirable
