People have taken a position and are hedgehogging. This is an improvement over 6 months ago and prior when the register was very weak so I take it as a positive sign. I've seen some perfectly reasonable comments that PTX's announcements to date like the collab with TF are all very well but they're not the bunker busting deals that the market is looking for that will bring in new revenues.

Well, you need to build the pyramid from the base first. PTX needs to establish the credibility from trial results but simultaneously needs to build its development model to get it closer to production. Guaranteed that TF is not making money out of this project. The fact that they're willing to expend internal, organisational resources of manpower and capital towards this project signals their expert evaluation of the potential outcomes is positive. If they're willing to take the punt then so am I.

I held PTX through this entire market slump because I believe firstly that biotech is the new hotness. Macro market factors might drag it down but it's not dependent on fickle consumer sentiment and I think investors broadly are recognising that. And secondly. PTX's SP fortunes are disconnected from the macro market being driven almost purely on their trial outcomes which look optimistic. As @supertramp said, it's a super risky end of the market but all factors considered, it's one of the best risk/reward plays out there.
