ive had a go at energy calcs and costing for fun. Summary:
1. to produce 50,000 T PA lithium
2. use 8 olympic swimming pools a day (this kills evap ponds)
3. need a 100MW solar farm
4. need 50 MW battery
5. cost of solar and battery $150 million.
6. we are modular so we only need a fraction (say 25% up front) then the previous module pays for the next and so on.
All doable.
