I bet its the 3,000 shares that they were able to get in the IPO, moved to the lower tax environment of the SMSF.
Conveniently traded at LIS 52 week low for maximum personal capital loss.
Smart move, its what i would do. Especially if LIS Moons... would rather pay 10% tax in an SMSF than 23.5% personally. (both discounted rates)
If anything, it shows they DO believe that LIS will generate a profit, and they made a conscious decision to move it to a lower tax environment.
Note. Hedy holds NO direct shares in her own name (except escrow performance shares), its all held in the low tax SMSF.
