I now have a healthy respect for the power short sellers can have over a stock's SP. We will have to see how things go.... but, ASM is cashed up and the money is to buy oxides to put through the metals plant. The approvals from the NSW government must be getting pretty close... so regardless how the shorts may be seeing things I have a positive opinion about the prospects.
