Well, a couple of things.
1) IMU space is getting a bit more exciting - holders may not willing to sell at the moment - and buyers can only pick up shares that are on offer.
2) I suspect that funds today went to blue chips - noticed most of these are up today. Maybe, not a lot of investors looking at other stocks today. ASX has been very conservative over the last month or so.
My (small) portfolio was all red figures today. Maybe my share selection is just crap
