Boulder Steel is the process of finalising the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the project with plans to lodge the EIS with the Queensland government by the end of Q2 2010 and have all the approvals and financing in place by Q4 2010. The bulk earthworks are expected commence at site in Q2 2011, with a target date for first 'hot metal' by late 2013 to early 2014.
