In view of the fact that you've dropped me in it, here's a brief summary of what went down....

My take (I've not heard NG speak before) - NG certainly comes across as a confident and competent manager. Knows his stuff, kept to his summarised points which flowed from one topic to the next. Unlike some of the other speakers that chopped and changed, ummed and arrhhed, their way through presentations.

NG reiterated first gas sales in December, said 3-4 weeks so I'm thinking probably early Dec. Everyone waiting on this now - so nothing new.

Odin is being fast tracked (but you would have read about that in todays release);

Vali still 84% uncontracted. Most interesting point made in the morning preso's was one presenter mentioned spot price was $23/Gj, so $23M/Pj - so that would suggest VEN share of JV of 50.5 Pj (or 42Pj uncontracted @ 84%) would mean around $970M potential revenue. Have I got that right, seemed highly ambitious?

I was interested in what he had to say about Nangwarry. Unfortunately, apart from the std line that it's a coy maker, not a lot of new material. Still talking to players on field development activities. ho hum... did mention that a comparison between (was it the caroline field?) which pumped out up to a max of 100tonnes over a 50yr life span, Nangwarry has the capacity to to go up to 150 tonnes/day. Could be a coy maker once the mkt is given a bit more info about it.

And finally, seemed genuinely interested in exploration prospects, based on early works, in the Galilee and Bonaparte Basins. Watch this space were his words...

That's about all I got from it. But happy to know that NG is competent in front of a camera (he wasn't at the conference, but zoomed in to give his preso).
