Maybe wrt CVN they just didn’t see a measly 20% non-operating interest worthwhile, or saw the premium they’d have had to offer too high?
As for the ex Apache interests, well a lot besides Dorado went with that, and a lot of possible reasons for disinterest.
Then again sometimes WPL just makes misjudgements - time will tell.
