So, it's much better if we, the mugs who hold this company, know nothing about how our leaderships operates? Leaking (aka informing) is somehow so much worse than a dodgy board? Personally, I'd like to know what happened in the meeting - a meeting where there was an opportunity for the board to keep RD from resigning, but instead they simply pissed him off more.
I'm amazed that people are applauding the professionalism of this clarification statement, and RL communication in general. It seems that there are many who are so easily seduced by nicely written words...
But doesn't a professional actually steer a board and company so these things don't happen in the first place? Doesn't a professional board hold a meeting where all directors can air differences and solve disputes in house, keeping company progress and shareholder value as the guiding priority? Doesn't it interest you that RL has to even write a clarification statement?
My vote is for a full clean-out of this dysfunctional board.
