Maybe not.
With BRK wells shown to be productive on either flank of the Bruins DSU, they may not necessarily need to drill a well in the DSU to prove the reserves to satisfy a potential purchaser. Whilst without drilling the DSU, the reserves may not be JORC compliant, a purchaser may be satisfied / confident enough to prefer to drill the well themselves and still pay full value for the PUD with the appropriate discount ( with some NPV adjustment for the well expenditure)
DP did mention that at the luncheon when I asked him about the timing for BRK to drill Bruins. One thing to consider , once a DSU is applied for and won, you have 12 months as per OCC requirement to drill the initial well, so that does set the clock ticking for either BRK to drill a well, or sell the DSU in time for the purchaser to drill the well.
cheers
