we really need to consider term limits for all states, obviously Victoria is currently a great example of why we should. Max 8 years (2 terms) seems like a good compromise. At least then all future Premiers and agency heads know that it will harder to cover up knowing a fresh set of eyes (even from the same party) will be gazing upon them. It will also increase the odds of changing between LNP and ALP which is also good for the independence of the public service and longer term policy. Perhaps 3 terms at a Federal level given the shorter terms.
