From what Albo said on tv tonight, intervention on gas is a given. We will have to wait to see what format. There is also talk of the " looming gas shortage" and gas exports might have be diverted to the domestic market. Perhaps he hasn't heard of Narrabri and Barossa - 2 big projects mired in red tape and greenie hijacks?? This excerpt from STO regarding Narrabri:
"Since 2012, Santos has spent more than $1.5 billion trying to get our Narrabri Gas Project approved and developed – a project that is 100 per cent committed to the domestic gas market,” a company spokesperson said.
What more do they want from from us - free gas?
