IMO the best vehicles made to date have been in Japan in the 1990s before EGR, plastic and nightmare electronics.
I'll mention a few: -Toyota Surf (built on the Hilux platform) with 3 L Diesel -Toyota Landcruiser /Prado with 3 L Diesel -Toyota Crown (10th Generation) with 1JZ & 2 JZ engines -Nissan Skyline -Nissan Safari/Patrol Diesel -Mitsubishi Pajero Diesel. -Lexus (mostly LS400) -And a few more.
Unlike the vehicles of today, these vehicles were built for reliability durability . No wonder car enthusiasts are now importing then under the Federal 25 Year Old vehicles Program
Even though these cars are now 25 years old they draw anywhere between $12K & $22K and alot more for the 2 door Turbo manual Skylines
