They would still lose money at $129.95 a month. For a start everyone would need to take it up - as if. They'll just use their next G wireless or adsl. What a joke.
This NBN will be a gigantic disaster for taxpayers. Labor will need an election before everyone wakes up. The economic fundamentals aren't being mentioned because they're not even anywhere close. That's why they're not even trying to spin it. Better to not raise the subject at all from their political (self-interest) point of view.
Telstra would have had fibre to the node installed already, with extreme speeds. They didn't do it quite rightly because they weren't allowed to own their asset on completion.
Vodaphone - uk, Optus/Singtel - Singapore. What a joke.
The whole thing is such nonsense that I can't believe the media isn't crucifying the whole thing - or maybe I can.
