I looked at timing of announcements after CNX and LNC initiated various trial burns and it seems to be about a month before any update is given. After that it appears to be more frequent. CNX set the bar with some technical releases whereas LNC's were more qualitative.

Much has been made by CXY of their $3-4 mill gas preparation plant ... from what I can gleen, it gives unprecedented control over syngas output quality. Nothing remotely like it was present for the 1999-2002 Chinchilla Trial imo.

I also wonder if the gas preparation plant will facilitate mixing and blending of syngas sourced from multiple gas reactors or cells? Given the scale up to get from a 10MW pre-production burn to fuelling a 200MW powergen project, I sure hope so ... and I dont think it has been done anywhere before.

This pre-production burn is all about demonstrating syngas quality/consistency and process control that will earn a turbine manufacturer's warranty and therefore permit the turbines to be financed.

By the time CXY's syngas techos have come back to earth in say two to three months, I am really hoping to see some site based powergen with the produced syngas for the remainder of the burn. It would be so much better if they can source a small gas turbine for this phase rather than just using outdated gas reciprocating engines imo.

CXY have hinted at site based powergen during the pre-production burn and I am hopeful they might expand on such plans in the first major update.
