Hi K1 - respectfully I disagree.
Surely architects do take into account new products/processes to advice their clients of what is possible. For example - the innovation of prefab roof trusses allowed the easy elimination of supporting walls in the middle of a house - giving architects much more freedom in the design.
Another example: all 3d printed concrete wall houses that I can find demonstrate designs that suit the 3d printer much better than bricklayers.
Certainly not now, but in the (I hope not too distant) future when the Hadrian starts making an impact building thousands of houses, builders are likely to suggest to architects to make modifications to their designs to make them more suitable for the Hadrian. I have already seen this happen several times when my builder asked me to go back to my architect to change the plan to make something easier/cheaper.
