I have taken the time and liberty to write to both the ASX and ASIC on countless occasions about this disgusting practice, (and IMHO manipulation at the expense of the small reatil shareholder), without any results whatsoever. The usual reply (a computer response always come as a reply) and even when you persist and ask questions,you will get nowhere fast.

In the end, when you become a headache of the ASX, they will refer you to the ASIC department, telling you that they are the body that oversee the trading legislations and can handle those complaints, and brush you off.

If you then persist with ASIC, and supply a detailed statement of the event supporting your evidence of the event (time and amount of trades, list of your supporting evidence etc, etc), you will be told in then end that your complaint will be sent to the regulation enforcement legal department, never to be heard again.

And if you do what I did, and pester them and drive them mad, you will be given another poor excuse that it is looked at AND THAT SOMEONE will get back in due course. If you wait for another six months or so and start pestering them again, you may be told that the Department is reviewing the practice (Bots trading that is), and to keep an eye out for news at some time down the track.

Did you see the big backflip the Government did with the importation of the meat from Countries who had an history of Cow Mad desease..???? That goes to show you something.
