It is also quite telling that Dr T maintains his stance that FTO inhibition is the more exciting market opportunity for RACE, whereas Phil is much more in the Cardioprotection camp.
Over the past 12 months, I am certain that Dr T would have had multiple updates/conversations with Dr Dominissi & Dr Cairns on their respective FTO diagnostic/biomarker work. If there was any doubt that this program had gone off the rails, then Dr T could have easily pivoted to be more in the Cardioprotection camp with Phil - especially since it was his hypothesis that there was a cardio rescue mechanism of action.
The fact he maintains FTO is the bigger opportunity should give us all confidence that the patient data they are collecting from the Sheba trial and Dr Cairns work here in Australia is progressing well and a diagnostic marker announcement is in the pipeline to be released once they have the patient data from the EMD AML trial in Australia.
