classic! I remember that exact quote and you are exactly right! I get the feeling they are still aiming to spend all profit on marketing. Not an exact science so sometimes they overshoot, make a slightly bigger “loss” for the year but truth is it’s “noise level break even”.
Those early Drury interviews were what got me in like 7 years ago. he is a visionary, I was lucky enough to sell a few at a higher level and now can relax through the cycle and just watch top line grow. Eyes on 100 bagger philosophy to simply let it ride ala Amazon.
Id love to see the Padley write up sometime as he is good and the headline was what a strong buy XRO is. Always good to see others rationale. But for me - the LTV/MC ratio being >1 is the greatest signal.
