The tug boat operator mentioned in the news story you based this entire thread upon does NOT operate in Port Hedland and has absolutely zero impact upon PLS “ore” shipping operations.
Well actually that may not be true. I guess there’s that possibility that shipping companies which suddenly have ships unable to enter other ports might free up some ships for operations in the ports that are operating. If PLS has extra spod vs shipping capacity available, this might just mean more ships available for PLS exports (and other exports from Port Hedland) in the short term.
