It's entirely possible it was a Ukrainian fired S-300. Accidents happen, especially when you are being attacked on a regular basis by Russian forces.
We've already seen a few video's of Russian failed AA missiles in Russian territory.
You PooTin lovers would be so excited if it was fired by Ukraine. Grab your nappies because you could wet yourselves with excitement.
Tragic accident if it was caused by Ukraine, vs deliberate act of murder by Russia.
