Agreed it's worth taking notice of complaints - but only in the context of what is happening in the sector at the moment (less focus on customer acquisition /growth and more focus on reducing bad debts). Also remember that people are more naturally motivated to leave bad reviews / complaints but generally rarely motivated to leave good ones - unless there is an incentive (e.g. on Afterpays highly rated Trustpilot you can see many of the positive reviews are actually from users "invited" by the company. Hmmm.

Are users complaining because of a legit issue or that their previous credit limits are being halved for example? Credit limits rightly seem to be the biggest current gripe and this is apparent across all bnpl providers now.... check out a couple of recent reviews of Klarna, Afterpay and Affirm below.
