I think you need to have a fair bit of cheese to start a short position, it is a margin trade afterall. And to get there, I think you need to have a bit of time to gain the knowledge and establish yourself in the financial market.
Seeing you don't even have time to learn about a company that you want to short, best you just be a spectator like kokhead else you going to lose alot of money any which way you go.
