Judges in the Hague ruled on Thursday that the Russians Igor Girkin and Sergey Dubinskiy and the Ukraine national Leonid Kharchenko caused a missile attack on 17 July 2014 which led to the deaths of all 298 people on board. The fourth defendant, Oleg Pulatov, the only one who had defence lawyers, was acquitted.

take full legal responsibility when their nationals do, and

you'd do so much better if you lived there instead of awful Australia!

REALITY CHECK:

Australians can see that Putin has to be contained and Russian expansion eliminated in Ukraine. Otherwise there will be nothing to stop him moving further west. Apart from a few outliers like Iran, North Korea everyone can see it too.

We have responsibilities. We have seen how Russia handled the downing of the MH17 which killed 38 Australians.

And we have taken note!

Putin and his cronies belong in court facing charges of crimes against humanity and other charges.
