With the lithium sector continuing to go from strength to strength, Essential Metals (ASX: ESS) is one of only a handful of Australian lithium developers with a hard rock spodumene project currently moving through the value-adding pre-development stages.

The Company's 450km2 Pioneer Dome Project is located in the heart of WA's "lithium corridor" in the Eastern Goldfields. Underpinned by a Mineral Resource of 11.2Mt at 1.21% Li2O, Essential expects to deliver an updated Mineral Resource in November followed by a Scoping Study towards the end of the year. It has also recently commenced discussions with potential off-takers and strategic partners.
