I lost the taste for the major brand beers years ago, Cascade, Boags, Heineken and the likes was what I would drink but can't drinks those any more.

In recent years craft beer has really taken off, number of Craft brewers did so well they ended up being brought out.

Interesting that CUB ( owned by Asahi) brought out craft brewer Pirate life Brewing, I thought that they would turn it into a macro but they have let Pirate life Brewing continue more or less independently.

Pirate life Brewing set up another brewery in Perth, the 1,200L tanks allow for smaller, more regular batches of beer. They pump out some risky, yet innovative brews – ultimately introducing local beers that are unique to the national market, positioning Pirate Life Perth as the “experimental brewery” of the Pirate Life portfolio.
