Thinking about this a little more, Brian and the board possibly have a different set of priorities if their goal (as previously announced) is to build a substantial mining company in a joint venture with Geominera. Moving the JV forward as quickly and reliably as possible might be a more significant factor than maintaining early shareholder value.

This long-term focus makes sense as a company, but maybe less so for a current shareholder who might be seeing investment in AAU as something that competes with other possible investments, especially short-term ones. I sold some recently partly for this reason.
