Well- I think that announcement is indicative of a change in position by STX on its T/O strategy.
Because WHY else would STX talkup the prospects of its target?
I am suspicious that STX is now trying to force Beach to up its cash offer, and or cause WGO s/h to not sell into thecBeach offer. Eg if Regal does not accept Beach offer then Beach offer probably fails - then WGO might accept a fresh STX offer?
STX cannot go toe- to - toe with higher Beach cash offers, as too dilutive for STX shareholders.
Also with STX holding 8% of WGO then STX gets higher cash as a result.
