An eventual take over makes sense to me. If you can charge people to find the problem and then charge them for the solution you have a nicely vertically integrated money spinner.
As I have said before if the valve manufactures want to sell more valves then they need to identify more patients. This is the system to do that. The whole point is to identify patients that have been previously missed.
