Yes of course..... I was just noodling over how they might determine TD. Its always an interesting part of a well. Often you have the drilling guys who have grown sick of the well and just want to go home pushing to TD asap. Then you have the Geologists who sometimes have to remind the drillers that the hole is actually being drilled to gather data. Many years ago I was on a well where the Drilling Supervisor jigged with the Geolograph on the drill floor to make it look like the ROP had died and the bit was shagged so we'd then have to TD the well. Luckily I was on good terms with the drill crew and they told me straight away what was going on.

If they have a full LWD suite currently in the hole (and the tools are working) then rough picks for RCI/RCX and sidewall core points may have already been made for the lower hole section..to be finalized once first log(s) has been run.
