To be honest the appeal of a lithium ion battery powering an EV is lost when you have to stop for an hour for a 50% charge. This can be done in 10 minutes with a battery with a Niobium anode.
Its lighter, safer, cheaper, longer lasting and range distances are longer.
Only issue is Toshiba are still developing SCIS batteries for commercial use in large quantities.
