    Fair go debono....lol.

Seriously, I believe the Liberal Party has done itself harm by electing Abbott as leader, and I say that as a humble voter. The Liberal Party obviously has a proud and distinguished record in Australian politics, although, it will come as no surprise to you...lol...that I tend to find the thrust of Labor's thinking more to my liking.

At times I wish I wasn't so critical of Abbott as a person, but I find it ridiculous that the Liberal Party has thrust him forward as their candidate for next PM.....particularly that they've done it at Turnbull's expense.

To my way of thinking, Abbott is so obsessed with right wing beliefs, that it interferes with his (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt) normal good self. I'm sure he's a great father to his girls etc, and a good swimmer...lol, but he is not the right person to be PM of this country.

Rudd has shortcomings as well as we all do (although I find mine hard to identify....lol), but he, to me, is a much more acceptable candidate as PM. Sorry, but Abbott just isn't up to speed for me.

I really hope he isn't elected as PM, and I likewise hope, that Rudd can lift his game and be more responsible and careful with the nation's dollars. Probably hoping for too much on both counts.....lol.
