I was going to say something else but i will tell you about a conversation I had with a Macquarie bank trading risk manager, that i met out one night.

His job is to pull up traders to make sure that the capital they are risking on the trade has a good profit to loss ratio. He has the final say 'yes or no' if the trader will put on the trade.

I was interested to know how mqg managed there risk. He told me what industry group he managed. I racked my brain. One stock had collapsed in the last week. Due to an announcement. So I asked him

how does mqg manage the collapse in price like xxx did last week?

he responded
You can't it called " behavioural finance do you know what that is?"
